Racetorx Junction Valves — Thumb & Finger Brake Conversion

**Connect your thumb or finger brake to your rear brake while retaining your foot brake.**

Racetorx Junction Valves fit into compatible rear foot-brake master cylinders, allowing a hydraulic thumb brake or finger-operated hand brake to work alongside the original foot control.

We offer seven junction valve versions, each designed for a different master cylinder connection.

Selecting your junction valve

Use the descriptions and application lists below to identify the correct version. The master cylinder fitted to your motorcycle determines compatibility. Model years, variants and replacement master cylinders can affect which valve you need.

RTX450 — Selected Brembo Fitment

Designed for selected Brembo rear master cylinders, including **Brembo part number 10850560**.

Applications include selected Aprilia RSV, RSVR, RSV4, RS660 and Husqvarna master cylinders, plus the new Ducati V4 applications listed below.

## RTX452 — Teardrop Fitment with M4 Bolt

Identified by its **teardrop-shaped mounting flange and M4 retaining bolt**.

Suitable for selected Brembo, Nissin and aftermarket master cylinders. This connection is commonly found on older-generation Honda motorcycles, along with selected Suzuki and Yamaha models.

Selected **Honda Africa Twin** applications are also supported; contact us to confirm the correct model and cylinder.

## RTX477 — Titanium Long-Neck, 18.5 mm Fitment

Designed for selected Nissin and aftermarket rear master cylinders with a **plastic reservoir nipple retained by a circlip** and an **18.5 mm internal inlet diameter**.

Common applications include selected Kawasaki, Honda, Triumph, Suzuki and Yamaha motorcycles.

### RTX477 Inline applications

**Inline** identifies master cylinders where the reservoir inlet and mounting holes face the same direction.

These use the RTX477 valve, but surrounding components may interfere with the installation. **Modification or additional clearance may be required.**

## RTX479 — Titanium Long-Neck, 14 mm Fitment

Designed for selected Brembo and aftermarket rear master cylinders with a **rotating plastic reservoir nipple** and a **14 mm internal inlet diameter**.

Developed by Racetorx for this style of connection, it supports a wide range of selected OEM Brembo applications.

**KTM models fitted with J.Juan master cylinders are currently not compatible.**

## RTX506 — Selected Yamaha Off-Road and Honda CRF300 Fitment

Designed for selected rear master cylinders fitted to **Yamaha YZ and WR 250, 400, 426 and 450 cc models**.

These are grouped application ranges. **Individual variants were not necessarily produced throughout the full range; confirm the master cylinder fitted to your bike.**

**RTX595 does not fit the CRF250L or CRF250RL.**

## RTX613 — M24 Fitment

Designed for selected newer master cylinders, including certain **2024-onwards Honda CRF450 and Husqvarna applications**.

**Send a photograph of your rear master cylinder before ordering RTX613 so we can confirm the fitment.**

## Yamaha Relocation Conversion

The Yamaha applications below require a **Racetorx relocation bracket and ZR125 replacement rear master cylinder** to use the conversion, rather than fitting a junction valve directly to the original cylinder.

## Currently Not Compatible

The following original master cylinder applications are currently unsuitable for direct junction valve installation:

- **J.Juan master cylinders**, including KTM models equipped with them.
- **Chinese master cylinders.**
- **Unbranded Chinese and NiceCNC thumb-brake master cylinders.**

## A Double Banjo Is Not a Substitute

**Fitting a double banjo bolt to the rear foot-brake master cylinder does not provide the dual-control function of a Racetorx Junction Valve.**

Use the correct junction valve and installation arrangement for your compatible master cylinder.

Follow the fitting instructions supplied with your kit. The completed system must be correctly bled and checked for leaks, brake release and operation from both controls before use.
