The Racetorx Brembo hand brake is a new design built around an off-the-shelf Brembo master cylinder. Like our thumb brake, it is a universal unit that fits the vast majority of motorcycles, giving you rear brake control from a lever on the left bar.
Why we made it
Our Stock 1000 hand brake was developed with TAG Racing around the Honda Fireblade SP master cylinder. Numerous BSB teams then asked us for a Stock 1000 hand brake that takes the Ducati and BMW OEM Brembo master cylinders, so we designed a new clamp frame and pivot to suit them – and built a universal Brembo hand brake from the same design.
Why riders use a hand brake
- Rear brake control from the left bar – ideal mid-corner, off-road and for riders with foot or ankle injuries
- Run it direct to the rear caliper or alongside the foot brake through a Racetorx junction valve
- Racing in Stock 1000? See our versions for the BMW M1000RR (RTX818) and Ducati Panigale (RTX819), which take the OEM master cylinder

Lifetime warranty – every part we make is covered for life against faults in materials and manufacture, for the original buyer. It does not cover crash or impact damage, normal wear, incorrect fitting, over-tightening or parts that have been modified. To make a claim, email sales@racetorx.co.uk with your order number and a photo. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Orders outside the UK – we post worldwide. Parcels sent outside the UK may be charged import duty, local taxes (such as VAT, GST or sales tax) and courier handling fees by the destination country. These are not included in our prices or postage and are payable by the buyer on delivery.
