The Racetorx Gear Shift Support has been engineered specifically for the KTM 1290 Super Duke Gen 3 platform to transform the feel and accuracy of every gear change.
The OEM gear selector shaft is only supported inside the engine casing, allowing unwanted flex during aggressive riding or quick shifting. Under hard acceleration this movement can contribute to missed gears, false neutrals and inconsistent quickshifter performance.
The Racetorx Gear Shift Support adds a precision external support bearing, significantly reducing shaft flex to provide smoother, more positive gear changes while also protecting the gearbox and selector shaft from impact damage in the event of a crash.

Why Fit a Gear Shift Support?
Modern quickshifters rely on precise movement of the gear selector shaft. Even a small amount of shaft flex can reduce shift accuracy, particularly during aggressive riding or high RPM gear changes.

Installation
Installation takes approximately 15–20 minutes using basic hand tools.
Torque mounting bolts to 10.7 Nm and apply a medium-strength thread-locking compound to the supplied bolts.
After installation, manually operate the gear lever to ensure smooth movement with no binding before riding.
